Frequently Asked Questions
What does "single origin" mean?
Single origin coffee comes from a specific country, region, or even a single farm. This traceability allows you to taste the unique characteristics shaped by that location's altitude, soil, climate, and harvesting methods. It's the coffee world's equivalent to wine terroir.
How should I store my coffee beans?
Store beans in an airtight container away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep them at room temperature. Whole beans stay fresh for 2-3 weeks after roasting. For ground coffee, use within one week. Freezing is not recommended.
Can I visit your roastery in Poland?
We're based in Poznań and welcome coffee enthusiasts to visit. Contact us at [email protected] or call +48 415 383 173 to arrange a visit. We offer bean selection guidance and brewing demonstrations by appointment.
What roast level is right for me?
Light roasts preserve origin flavors and acidity—ideal for pour-over and filter coffee. Medium roasts offer balance and work well with any method. Dark roasts bring bolder body and are excellent for espresso and french press. Try different roasts to discover your preference.
Do you offer ground coffee?
We offer beans in whole bean format for maximum freshness. However, we can grind beans for you at time of purchase if you specify your brewing method. Grinding significantly reduces shelf life, so whole beans are recommended.
How are your beans sourced?
We use direct trade relationships whenever possible, working with individual farms and cooperative unions. We prioritize sustainable farming practices, fair labor standards, and environmental stewardship. Transparency is core to our sourcing philosophy.
